About the Author

Radomir Vojtech Luza was born in Vienna, Austria in 1963. He owes his love of art and politics to his Czech parents, Radomir Sr. and Libuse Podhraska. Luza graduated from Jesuit High School in New Orleans in 1981 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1985 from Tulane University in New Orleans.

Luza is the poet laureate of North Hollywood, California, a Pushcart Prize nominee, author of twenty-six books and an award-winning wordsmith. His poetry has appeared in nearly eighty literary journals, magazines, anthologies and websites such as the front cover of Papyrus, Kyso Flash, Askew, Nerve Cowboy, Spare Change, Boston Globe, Cultural Weekly, Spectrum II and III, Altadena Poetry Review, and the Lummox Anthology I–IV. Radomir has featured his poetry over one-hundred times across the country. He has also hosted over a dozen readings in cities such as New York City; Jersey City, New Jersey; Fort Walton Beach, Florida and Los Angeles.

Luza currently hosts Unbuckled: No Ho Poetry with Mary Anneeta Mann at TU Studios in North Hollywood on the first Saturday of each month.
